Echidnas everywhere

Last weekend no fewer than three echidnas were spotted around Ben Ricketts!

Though usually very shy, it seemed to be the season for them to be out and about in the middle of the day. Nic Witton took this lovely little video of one of the two that was seen along Misty Lane, while the third one was spotted at the far end of the property. They are delightful animals, and it is possible to get close without scaring them away.
